About Dynamic Light App for MAC
Dynamic Light…After the big success of the iPhone and iPad version we had many request to make the Dynamic Light for MAC.
Dynamic Light gives you the easiest, fastest and best looking HDR look from just a single image. No need for multiple exposure shots or raw files, just a normal JPG image from your camera is enough (also supports PNG, Tiff and few other formats).
This version for MAC is also ultra fast multithreaded app because we did all the hard optimization for IOS version and now on much more powerful machines it runs faster than we anticipated. Turning strength dial or effect color ball now updates image in real-time!
There are 24 special effects that are a great match for the HDR look like Orton, Sepia, Vignette, Mysterious Light, Infrared etc. Dutch Light effect even gained some legendary status with our users.
Select any effect then rotate the Light Ball to see in realtime how the light and direction change with the Mac exclusive live preview. You can easily create precise custom look for color or black & white images.
“In one word, “WOW”. This is a quick, simple app, with stunning effects that has just set a new standard in single photo HDR apps…” iPhoneography.com review of iPhone version.
Some tips: The HDR look works best on landscape and outdoor pictures especially with cloudy skies and lot of textures. This also minimizes the camera noise. Large flat surfaces without a texture are not a good match for this effect, nor are portrait photos, unless you are after particular effect.
We hope you will have fun with this app and take some amazing shots.
Note: We already submitted update with the drag and drop and removed those redundant menus. We take your comments seriously.
New Features
Version 1.1:
- Added drag and drop (drag image to the image display view)
- Removed redundant menus

You don’t have to put your programs in the Applications folder, though: they’ll run from anywhere. Some people create a “Games” directory, to keep games separate from other applications. But Applications is the most convenient place to put things, so we suggest you just put everything there.
DMG files are mounted by your system, like a sort of virtual hard drive. When you’re done installing the application, it’s a good idea to unmount the DMG in Finder.
