About LoadMyTracks App for MAC
LoadMyTracks is a utility that allows users of the Mac to download track, route, and waypoint information from a variety of GPS receivers fromCanon Garmin, GlobalSat, Magellan, TomTom, Sony, Lowrance, Timex, and turn them into GPX files or KML files (for use with Google Earth).
LoadMyTracks can also send Tracks, Waypoints, and Routes to your Garmin and Magellan GPS devices (support for other manufacturers will be forthcoming)! It will also translate GPX files to KML and convert some existing saved files from certain (Lowrance and Magellan) GPS receivers. Using extensions to GPX 1.1, it will also place cadence, heart rate, and lap information into the GPX files.
LoadMyTracks will also import and export Geocaching information from supported devices and file formats (including LOC for import and GPX for import and export).

New Features
Version 1.5.3:
This release is now available on both the Mac App Store and direct download. Changes since 1.5.0 are only related to bug fixes and sandboxing. If you encounter problems on either the Mac App Store or direct versions, please contact us at our support site.
This version is a major update, including the modernization of much of the interior of the program, along with removing some older supported devices that we can no longer support.
Issues with some Garmin devices
Some of you may have noticed that since 10.13, there are some older Garmin devices (especially those that used Garmin USB) that became unusable. Garmin’s own software cannot communicate with them, and no firmware updates are available that fix these problems. Therefore, we cannot claim support for these any longer. This includes the Garmin Edge 305 and the Garmin eTrex Legend C. We have not done anything to remove support for these, so it’s possible Garmin or Apple will issue a fix in the future, but we do not expect it (since the problem has been known for over a year).
Changes since 1.5.2
- Fixed potential crashing bug in Magellan Storage driver

You don’t have to put your programs in the Applications folder, though: they’ll run from anywhere. Some people create a “Games” directory, to keep games separate from other applications. But Applications is the most convenient place to put things, so we suggest you just put everything there.
DMG files are mounted by your system, like a sort of virtual hard drive. When you’re done installing the application, it’s a good idea to unmount the DMG in Finder.
