About eNotifier Updater App for MAC
Note: This update is available only to previous registered users. The software is not being made available to new users.
eNotifier is a utility that helps to make the process of sending eBayª end of auction invoices to your winning bidders faster and easier. eNotifier automatically collates invoices so that each bidder will receive only one email message, regardless of how many of your auctions they have won, and uses text files as a templates to generate the outgoing invoices. Generated invoices are sent to winning bidders using your own email application. eNotifier includes “test” and “simulation” modes (the demo version of eNotifier can only run in simulation mode), turned on by default, so that you can try it out without sending email to your actual customers. In testing, we have found that using eNotifier reduces the amount of time that needs to be spent on sending end of auction invoices by 75-90% (over cut and paste and macro methods). eNotifier is intended for use by intermediate to advanced Mac/eBay users and is not recommended for novice users of either. It does not have built-in support for dutch or fixed-price auctions (it recognizes and ignores them) and is not able to determine if reserve prices have been met, so it is important that you are familiar with your items before using eNotifier. eNotifier will primarily be useful to eBay sellers who post and process their auctions in large “batches”.
Note: See Related Links, below, for a version compatible with Mac OS 8.1 and later.
New Features
Version 1.4 adds the following:
- Step 1 now allows selection of any file, under OS X, to avoid a problem with browsers that do not add a file type
- Any file in the Templates folder is now assumed to be a valid template, to work around problems in OS X
- Templates are now handled in real time (editing the active template is reflected in eNotifier as soon as it is saved)
